Dust, full storage or another problem?
Console cleaning is available after checking the exact model and condition. The fixed quote explains which case, vent, fan and safely accessible cooling areas will be cleaned, plus any disassembly. Thermal paste, thermal pads, liquid-metal work and replacement parts are not part of a standard clean.
Cleaning is maintenance; it does not guarantee a fix for overheating, loud fans or shutdowns. Describe these symptoms before booking. Liquid damage, pest contamination and board repair are outside this service.
Before the visit, stop gaming, shut down and let the console cool. Have its controller, display and cables ready for the agreed before-and-after checks. Do not spray cleaning liquids inside it or open it as a troubleshooting experiment.
Is the console full, or is something else wrong?
Look at the console’s storage screen and note the available space, exact model and any error message. Tell me whether you want more room for games or are experiencing crashes, download problems or a drive fault. A storage upgrade is not a general repair for every console problem.
Do not delete saved data or format an existing drive as a troubleshooting experiment. Check supported backup options first. Account purchases, installed games, captures and saved games are different things; check what your chosen backup actually protects.
PS5 M.2 expansion
A supported M.2 SSD adds storage for compatible games without replacing the PS5’s built-in system drive. The advertised fitting price is £49 labour plus the compatible SSD and any required cooling.
The drive interface, dimensions, cooling and performance requirements all matter. M.2 SATA drives are not supported for this expansion. I check the current PlayStation requirements and the exact drive before accepting a booking, including a drive you already own.

External USB storage is different
A USB drive is not interchangeable with an internal M.2 expansion SSD. PS5 games stored on USB extended storage need to be copied back to suitable console or M.2 storage to play; supported PS4 games can be played from USB extended storage.
Tell me whether you want to store games or run them directly from the added storage, so I can quote the appropriate option. More capacity is not a promise of higher frame rates or better graphics.

Xbox, older PlayStation and other consoles
PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro can be considered for a compatible 2.5-inch SATA SSD replacement. I check the console and exact drive before quoting. System-software reinstallation is required, and the backup/restore plan must be agreed before removing the original drive. You keep your old drive unless a separate disposal arrangement is authorised.
An existing-stock SSD may be used rather than new; its model, condition and nominal capacity are stated on the quote. A 1TB replacement increases capacity only if your current drive is smaller, and usable capacity is lower after formatting and system files. The upgrade is not a guaranteed repair for crashes or other faults.

Supported expansion cards, USB drives and internal storage options differ between systems. I quote only a supported option that I can fit and test; I do not advertise a universal internal system-drive swap.
Board faults, HDMI-port microsoldering and general console electronics repair are outside this storage-upgrade service.
Before and after fitting
Have the console, controller, display and necessary cables available, with account access for you to use if needed. Back up supported saves and important captures. Agree the chosen drive and capacity before purchase.
A newly installed expansion drive may need formatting. This erases that drive’s existing contents, so any formatting needs your explicit agreement; a used drive is not assumed to be empty. At handover, check that storage is recognised and complete the agreed game or transfer test.
