iPhone Wi-Fi or Bluetooth problems

Check a connection issue without wiping saved settings or data unnecessarily.

What the symptoms may tell you

A single router or accessory failing differs from all Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections failing. A greyed-out control or problem after a drop may indicate a deeper fault.

Safe checks to try first

  1. 1Test a second trusted Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth accessory, and restart both devices.
  2. 2Check that Airplane Mode is off and software is up to date.
  3. 3Note whether other devices connect to the same router or accessory.

What to avoid

Do not reset network settings casually: it removes saved network information and may disrupt other connections.

Next step

Send the iPhone model, software version and whether the fault happens with one or every connection.

What I can help with

Network troubleshooting is guidance; radio or board repair is outside the advertised service.
