What the symptoms may tell you

A dirty or obstructed lens differs from a camera module fault. Note whether the problem affects front, rear or one zoom option only.

Safe checks to try first

  1. 1Remove accessories that may obstruct or interfere with the camera and wipe lens glass gently with a microfibre cloth.
  2. 2Restart the phone and compare the native Camera app with another app.
  3. 3Test front and rear cameras in good light, noting blur, shaking and focus behaviour.

What to avoid

Do not open the camera housing or continue using a phone with exposed broken glass where moisture can enter.

Next step

Send the model, affected camera or zoom setting, and whether the lens glass is cracked.

What I can help with

Camera replacement is considered after parts and calibration checks. Face ID repair is not included.
